"SOSA Osteopathy & Somatic Therapy Center, HK" was founded in 2012; owned and operated by Paul Roberts. For more than 10 years, Paul has been providing professional manual treatment services to the local community in Hong Kong in Cantonese and English. He has also taught and promoted Osteopathy throughout Asia, publishing articles and workbooks in Chinese, and passing on this tradition through professional workshops.

Paul Roberts, DOMP, B.Sc. studied engineering, physics, and osteopathy. He completed five years of traditional osteopathic studies at the Canadian School of Osteopathy (CSO), and two years of embryology at EVOST. In 2012, he established SOSA Osteopathy Centre, Hong Kong, where he still works today.

Paul is a practitioner, educator, and researcher. He teaches osteopathy, trauma therapy, and somatic education — including mindfulness, embodiment movement, and clinical breathwork — and has contributed to curriculum development with the “School of Modern Osteopathy”. In 2025, he founded the Primo-vascular Therapeutic Research Institute of Hong Kong, the result of ten years of research into the physical meridians. The same year, he co-authored Modern Organ Osteopathy, Volume I, a work that reframes osteopathic understanding around perception and treatment of the organs.

He collaborated with osteopaths from diverse backgrounds and specialties to broaden his skills and deepen his perspective. Paul’s academic path continued while his personal healing journey unfolded, leading him to explore the mindbody connection, where he spent ten years of immersive study in trauma therapy and somatic education. In clinical practice, Paul integrates these complementary approaches, offering a wider range of therapeutic possibility to his patients.

In 2026, Paul established the Hong Kong School of Modern Osteopathy in partnership with the German Academy of Science in Osteopathy and Peter Levin D.O. — bringing an authentic, science-based approach to osteopathic education. He is also an editor for the Journal Of Modern Osteopathy, and contributes articles to the field.
